Isn't it weird that the rigged mass maps always get played the most?
But then I spent time thinking why people like playing this map and I thought of it. Society today created us with the message "killing is cool"
Usually the game host of some rigged mass map will most likely be the player with the rigged unit(marine or ghost...) Because they like seeing their rigged unit "kill" things.
Defense maps have also incorporated this message. The old days, it use to be 30 units fly to the end and you try to kill it. Today, it's a few units are created every second and they all try to fly to the end.
Almost every bound has units created and killed instantly...
Most of the melee maps these days are money maps with people that just pump out huge numbers of 1 or 2 units.
Evolves maps is the only map that I know of that has been around for the longest time. The "killing is cool" factor.
I'm a victim of this, too. I admit it. Macro-Management is way much better than Micro-Management.
I've always been thinking of ideas for "The Perfect Scenario" Basically a map that can be won but like Diablo 2, there will be harder level you have to beat, Can never get boring, Totally balanced, etc.
Don't know if I'll ever get to it but it is fun to think of ideas.
Just my ideas and stuff.
