Irdamage's psn/summonmancer

Intro
I originally decided to build this char, bcuz i came across a deaths web and decided wth. However i had to debate between secondary skills. I chose skeletons and skele mastery. I chose these over revives for early killing power.

Skills
Max raise skeleton- Its important that you put ur initial points into this skill, as they will be your main killing power early in the game.
Max psn dagger- Just a synergy
Max psn explosion- This can b used if u want, but pretty much useless
Max-psn nova- Your main killing power.
Rest into skeleton mastery- This will be your final skill to add to just to give those skelies some more power



Stats
Str- I cant stress enough...JUST ENOUGH FOR ITEMS JEFI
Dex- Now i chose to max block bcuz of novas range, so either no points or enough for max block
Vit- rest
Energy- None



Items
I will post my items in the first slot and alternatives after. Keeping in mind since ur also using skelies so ur gonna want + to all skills not only PnB- so therefor were not gonna wanna use the trang ghouls 3 items.


Helms:
Shako=Pretty much the standard for most caster chars, awesome helm with skills+life+mana
Rare Circlet=Godly helm, usually expensive as hell though so i wouldnt recomend it
Lore (ort+sol)= Very nice and very cheep item.

Armor:
COH medium armor=Great armor, skills,resist,dmg reduction.
Enigma=this is more of a pvp armor but useful for the r/w and tele. the str ,skills, and dmg reduction is quite good though.
Bramble= probably the best alternative to COH, it makes up for lack of skills with massive psn boost + a usefull thorns aura for ur skelies
ViperMaji= always a good resource for skills cast rate and resistance, if u can find an uped one all the better

Shield
Homonoculus= Great all around shield perfect with an um in it :)
Boneflame=Another good choice, resists,r/w,and 3 nec skills if good.
Darkforce SpawnA possible 3 to all necro skills and 30%fcr and a massive defence.
StormShield= Good shield with some nice resists and dmg reducition ^_^ but unless ur gonna max block u dont really need it

Weapon
Deaths Web=Hands down the best psn necro wand can hav ea total +4 to psn skills and huge -enemy psn resistance
Wiz Spike=Very good alternative, great resistance,great mana,good fcr
Black hand Key=couple to skills.good fcr, life and a fire resist mod, a nice choice
Black bogs=A very good weapon for the skills, but DONT be tempted to using psn dagger with this wpn bcuz you are NOT melee.

Gloves
Trang gloves= THE ONLY GLOVES TO B USED
Frostburns= You can use these until strong enough to use trangs

Boots
Marrow walks= Good boots, could b used for the bone prison bug but were just usin it for the skelton mastery and str bonus
Sandstorm trecks=Usefull for the str and vit mods
Silkweaves=Just incase u run out of mana

Rings
x2soj= U almost hafta use these to keep up mana, and the skills are good aswell
ravenfrost+manald=A cheaper solution but still useful for the dex and cannot b frozen

Amulets
Mara's=Great ammy,skills,resists, and stats wut more could ya ask for?
Crafted = well though non legit, GREAT things to have perfect for a necro, skills,resists,fcr everythin :)

Inventory
If you can afford it ule want to bring in as many PnB and summoning skill charms as possible. More or less depending on which area you wish to be more powerful in. I personally went with PnB. An anni is a veerrry wonderful little thing, go for it if you can afford. other whys fill the rest with life/mana small charms.

Merc
Act 2 offensive-might aura
Perf eth vamp gaze
eth reapers toll
eth shaftstop



Strategy
PVM: Start off with the weakest monsters available ie:act 1. cast amp, then spam novas while ur merc attacks, summon skelle and continue till you have all ur skellies. When dealing with hordes i find it easier to spam a few novas and then use corpse explosion, also works with the psn immunes if ur skelies and merc cant handle.

PVP: I will assume that you are using Enigma, if not run ur @$$ off
Barbs: These ppl can b troublesome if there ww, usually a good idea to tele around them spamming nova. If they are concentraters, u can tele right on top and let them go at ur minions, then spam till dead
Zons:All i can say is damn u auto aim -_-, but zons can b a breeze or a nightmare. Bowers will most likely use auto aim, so youl need to tele near them right away and spam, there gonna use guided so itl take on ur minions so ule b fine. If there CS ...then theres a bit of a problem. if there godly ur gonna hafta work hard. telenear them and spam away, keep urself on the run so they cant get u or ur minions.
Pallies For starters if they are melee pallies, there almost gauranteed dead. unless they have good resist, then it may take a little time to wittle em down, but ur minions can tank for u.If FOHers' there done aswell ur minions will take the hits, u just spam away. now if hammerdins u may have a problem ide suggest tele below them and spam...just so ule have the advantage of havin a couple seconds to spam and then tele again
NecrosIf there a fellow psn/summoner ...pretty much who can tele and spam faster i spose. If a bonemancer ur gonna hafta tele like a mad man, cuz there usually gonna spam spears which cut through ur minions like a hot knife through butter :(. so tele and spam and run like hell
AssasinsIf ww tele around there ww's and spam let em wear themselves out on the minions. If trappers, then u got a small challange, but keep after them and tele constantly to avoid MB and just spam till dead
SorcsWith all sorcs its about gettin the hit in then takin off, most sorcs will just spam right back at you so youle hafta learn how they move and counter
Druids Melee...if there dumb enough to come after u ...teach em a lesson with a one two noca knockout. If there windys ur gonna have a hell of a time. they usually have minions aswell and hel be coming strait for u and if u get frozen ur almost screwed beyond belief, but just tele away and spam and tele.

Nice guide, sounds kind of fun and you also have something to kill psn immunes.

Let me take the Dueling area. I have probably the most experience on this forum with dueling them, and can pretty much write a complicated paragraph or two depending on what type of character you are dueling.

I have only been killed by a few barbs. 99% of barbs can NOT kill you in one WW. Zerk is a little different. Most barbs won't have a good poison resist after Lower Resist, so after the 1 ww usually, they are at 1 hp, or notice that they have just been raped and will either be stupid and try to WW again or get killed.

Zons are a little more challenging. CS Zons- switch to full lightning gear (Um SS, Ort Blackhorns, Ort Guardian Angel, Tgods, Wizardspike), and these should be pretty easy. 1 Nova and they will go running.

Bowazons are also a little harder. They usually love to run REALLY FAR away and just spam Guided or MS. If they run that far out, don't bother dueling them. If they are stupid enough to get close, just use one bone prison to trap them while constantly spamming clay golem to take the Guided hits. Once you're close enough, cast a nova and a bone spear and it's over.

Pallies are probably the easiest, though I've only seen one that could kill me. Hammerdins are by far the easiest, mainly because if they teleport into your radius, they are usually ****ed. Just keep on the move and cast Nova here and there. Watch for hammers.

Chargers are also easy. If they don't 1 hit you, then they are dead, hands down. I usually can cast 2 nova's back to back and they are dead before they even get to me.

FoHers: Get Lightning gear and rape away. These are the easiest duels you will EVER have.

Trappers: Get Full Lightning gear and rape away.

Melee Sins: If they use Fade, ****.

WW: Just bow down, you can't kill these.

Firesorcs: Get Fire gear, rape away.

Coldsorcs: Get ALOT of cold resist, not so much as to get 95 resist, but as much stacked resist as possible (as in 4 Thul Armor, 3Thul Helm, Battleclash, 4Sapphire Monarch, 2 Ravenfrosts, Wizardspike), and these shouldn't be too much trouble.

Blizzard: Usually these are 1 hitters. Just keep on the move and try not to let them get a lock on you. Cast bone spear to make them move and take the offensive. Force them to teleport rather than cast, then use nova's in good spots. 1 Nova + Spear = dead.

Bone Necro's: **** them, those and their ****ing Enigma's and IBS just aren't fair.

NovaNecro's: Get Poison gear --> Resist mainly. Lots of it. Get Death's Gloves.

Druids: Melee are easier than FoH'ers.

Wind: Keep on the move, and force him to run into your novas. Cyclone armor doesn't absorb the poison, so these are usually easy competition.

I've seen a few Melee druids before. And why would I cover Wind Druids 2 times?

he means why do u have FOH under a druid -_-
btw when u mention the blizz sorcs, the idea is to b a summoner and NOT have bonespear. IMO on the trapperz FOH's and cold sorcs, stocking up on resists is a BIG waste i prefer keepin the skills and out manuvering them

Bone spear is a synergy. If you actually built that character, you would know.

And No, stocking up on resists is NOT a waste. I've dueled enough to know with novanecro's. If you can take hits, that means they will be on your screen, and if they are, they are (most of the time) already dead.

And I said melee (as in druids) are easier than dueling FoH'ers. Get some comprehension skills people.

Well the way you phrased it made it confusing. Anyway, I might try this build out eventually; it sounds like a decent hybrid.

I solod the entire game it just takes a couple seconds longer to kill psn immunes cuz u gotta let ur minions get to em and smack em up

Theres 3 that i used

Low levels-amp damage
Lower resist-rest
Decrep- allows skelies to survive longer agianst bosses therefor giving me more time to nova and remove his health

and yeah viz went through it all

On another note, if you are going to build a complete PvP Build with this guy, I would suggest getting at least 1 into Bone Armor / Wall / Prison. Skeletons will die quickly and are just used for meat shields.

Just a couple things:

Get the 1.10 Trang gloves, they add +25 to psn dam.

Also, if you have 3 trangs together, like the belt, gloves, and wing; the wing gives you -25 to enemy psn resist.

Sweet guide. I have a nove necro, but I maxed CE, so I will give your's a try soon!
