Invisible skeletons?

i was recently in a norm baal run game and seen that the summoner necro had many skeletons summonded ... but u copuldnt see them... they were invisble ... any answers?

same thing happens ocasionally with sorcs fire....kinda sux...i got hurt pretty bad not seinthat fire quite a few times
