Interceptor Use Problem

eh first of all, merry f**kin christmas, now to the point. Im making a war/rpg game where ur a commando, and now only as a commando u have 2 different weapons u can switch at will, but u have some items like differnet ammo, health packs and grenades. Now seeing that ur a commando, u get a commando ability on top of that, which can range from an artillery strike, to being able to place claymore mines(which arent just shitty spider mines, there my own design) and then theres another, and then the one im having problems with. Technically its not a really a problem if i didnt want the game to be more realistic/detailed. But one ability is you can use a rocket laucnher, being the corsair which hovers over u. You aim by using the d-web, no problems with that, but when u shoot, the rocket launcher disapears(as u can only use it once per ability recharge) and then the rocket is shot form ur guy to the target. originally i was going to use the scourge as the rocket, but its being used as the grenade, so i need to find out how to use the interceptor as the rocket, it looks like one, and is fast like one. And i remeber some time back some alimighty map creator made a test map where the deilfer shot an interceptor with its d-web, and it worked pefectly. So i either need that map plz, or i need someone to help me out on this, i need the interceptor to be shot from your units location to the target. Can anyone help me?

That RPG sounds neat. I'd like to play it when you're done, so please try to post back here with the map when you're finished with it.


I'll post the map with the explanation of controlling the Interceptors. Read the comments to understand what the AI Scripts do.

To navigate the map:
Cast disruption web with corsair at the bottom left of the map.

k, you know wat, im sry for double posting, but this thing is really starting to piss me off. Like i just dont get it, i looked at ur test game, it works good, then i tried it in mine, it does great up until the interceptor is moved to the location of ur unit, then it just shoots itself back up to its home carrier. I have the generic command target set to the DF's move location, then i have the "make these units patrol to left corner" set on the move location of my unit, and it doesnt work. Like i looked at ur game, and it looks as if its exactly how its supposed to be. And i have p6(whos interceptro and carrier it is, also allied with the commandos) in on the trigger, so its not like p6 isnt also controlling the trigger. I just dont get wat im doing wrong, so if u got any input on this, help me out.
