Look guys (and girls for that matter), I bought Diablo II a couple of years ago and it worked fine, but after a few computer formats, it's been long gone. And since then I have decided to reinstall it.
During the installation process, it freezes right near the end, and says I have some data error. It freezes on d2speech.mpq. Right near the end. I have explored the cd and found that the file is only 155mb. I remember it being something like 171, or something.
Anyway, people have told me not to worry about it, and hold down alt during the installation and when the error comes up press ctr+del, which I did to no avail. People then told me to just drag the file from the disc into where I was installing Diablo II. This is when I discovered I was missing part of the file.
I'm bloody rotten with the people who sold it to me, but I can't do anything after 2 or 3 years, I mean, it worked fine when I first got it. If someone could point me in the direction of the full file (d2speech.mpq) it would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance.
