Installation issues-LOD

Hello all, first time poster here so be gentle if i break a rule. FIrst off i would like to say my copy of D2 is a legitimate copy as well as BOTH my copies of LOD. (Yes i realize i dont need 2 copies, i bought one and somone gave me one as a present the same day) THe issue im having is i can load up and run Diablo 2 fine, but when i go to upgrade to LOD i continuously have and error saying "Please insert D2 play disc" (and yes for the record im inserting the correct disc) I tried both D2LOD disc and am having the same issue. THe strange thing is it worked on this computer before, I uninstalled the game a few years back and now have some renewed intrest in playing it again.

You dont insert the LOD disc. You re insert the Diablo II disc labeled Pay Disc.

play disc, if LOD is installed, snag a loader, if it isnt, and you have more than 1 cd drive, put it in a different one
