Ingame Color Hack

I used to play a long time ago and I remember there was a fun ingame color hack that allowed you to type in colors in game. I've searched around and all I could find it instructions to make games in color or make color in your profile... Does anyone know if there is a hack that allows you to type in color while in a game??

If so please point me in the right direction =) Thanks guys. and its good to be back for reset.

P.S- I think certain spambots have it... so im sure its still doable...

AFAIK Blizzard patched the ingame color codes for Diablo II, and you can no longer color your chat or your profile text anymore.

hmmm u sure? I was pretty sure there were spam bots and even pindle/meph bots that used the color hack ingame. Anyone else? Or is it really gone?

I have seen gamenames in colors pretty often. Don't know about chat though.

That can be done by hex editing the game name with a hex editor, and is very ill advised. Modifying code such as that especially while the game is running is the same as writing into the games process memory, and can get you immediately banned.
