Info on the "rune dupe"

Okay, first of all, no saying you have the dupe, if you know how to do it, feel free to give us hints, but no "I have the dupe, here's a hint" kind crap. And please no spamming of usless infomation. Mods if this starts to go off topic close it... AND NO BEGGING FOR THE METHOD!! If you have no useful info on the dupe don't post!



I am going to try the unsocketing crap and see if any of it works...

If you have tried any of the possibilitys and found that they are false please say so...

I won't be surprised if this gets closed within the first 30 minutes so I won't say anymore


Edit: I was just thinking... Could it have to do with upgrading weapons?

GOD JUST STFU BOUT IT -_-, anyways everything i know it envolves cube, people have droped 40x runes after just one thing, 36runes+cube witch=9 so 40 leaves only 3 spaces left, so it envolves only 3 items, possible its just tp potion rune the end, now can we stfu bout this?

I was thinking.. what if you have 2 items in the cube when you do the unsocketing? I am going to try it..

Is it possible a rune word might cause a rollback? I saw somone say in a demo of the dupe the guy droped.. and when he came back he had 4 of the same thing.. I was thinking maybe he drops the items and makes the "bugged rune word" and gets booted and rolled back then rejoins the game and picks up the items... just a thought..

15-20minitues they said would =40runes, well maybe, first time he does it drops 1, than second time its 2 so we got 3 etc etc maybe, I doubt thats it though, if anyones noticed aret summit doesnt show all the runewords, ive seen runewords on bnet that arnt on areat summit, i think it was silver moon, or somethjing with a s, it envolved ort ith and something else, i never saw it before, but if it was a bugged rune word, doubt itd be on areat sumit just a thought?

Those are 3 of the unused runewords..(tested, and they don't work)

Why aint they listed on sumit? -_-, it was vengance, i belive, where did you get the names for these? btw they said it was a low lvl runes, so maybe its those 3? thats why they didnt have em listed :-d

I found them on diabloworld.. they aren't "activated" so they do nothing... they don't even change the name.. I didn't try the 3 sock wand tho.. since I couldn't manage to make a 3 sock wand..

I just messed around with the cresent moon rune word.. unsocketing it with other runes in the cube.. nothin worked..

It seems like it must be simplier then this..... somone said they figured it out while on a mf run..
