That was added in a patch a few years ago, it makes you have to micro manage them more I guess, :\

I use the Attack move on all my military units. I find that its the best way to protect my little guys. If they get abushed at least they will fire back, cause some damage, before they get to where they are suppose to be.

I just checked, I was incorrect about the Attack command allowing an Infested Terran to arbitrarily kill itself was added in a patch. I heard it from somewhere (I don't remember where), but it was wrong. Sorry if I confused anyone.

When I use infested terrans they do seem to arbitrarily blow up. No targets for miles, they just ... self destruct. Why?

Not mine. I just have this probl;em with one blowing up on a marine or something and killing 6 others that I could have used on other units. ><

It's mostly in "The Rebuilding of Eora" map. Sometimes the spawned infested terran blow up, but othertimes no. And it isn't a trigger.

Or in deadlock, risk burrowing htem under units or behind them while they are attacking, then unburrow them and own thier asses.

Infested terrans are my little bomb-ombs. I use them as much as possible zvt because of how fun it is to make my enemies go boom.

You can also load overlords and try to punch a hole in the turrets with guards and muta support. Then land Infested Terrans in and destroy the base with a few units.

That strategy is also used in games like C/C Red Alert 2.
In that game, you would arm IFVs or Flak Trucks with Crazy Ivans and bomb them with dynamite.
