If I make a button that increases the damage of a tower or a unit, how would I go about doing that? I've found places to modify range, hps, and rate of fire, but nothing about increasing range or damage. I know how to make the button itself, but the actual trigger that increases damage has me stumped.

You could always have an upgrade that changes stuff and trigger it to run. Assign the upgrade to the building in the Unit Editor.

That would require a new tower with each upgrade. I've seen maps that simply upgrade all towers' damage when a button is clicked, it doesn't replace every tower, it upgrades their actual damage.

you could have acommands..

like:

player 1 red types a chat message containing the text (upgrade 1)

and have it so you can only do it at certain points, of gameplay or what not.. and when they do this, you could reduce their gold by how ever much using actions.

or it could be a selection/keyboard event instead chat message.

I know how to do that part...

I need to know which attribute to change. There is no attribute in the editor for damage. There are attributes for hitpoints and speed, but nothing for actual damage, so I don't know what will be modified once the button is clicked.

Thank you

Thanks for your response, that helps alot. I think I was trying to hard to get to where I wanted, that I overlooked the obvious, which you were so kind to state :D

That's all I needed to complete my map, thank you.
