In need of some 'No CD' advise.

I recently purchased another computer and I have them networked. I would like to play starcraft over the LAN but I need 2 different starcraft CD's to do this. I downloaded a No CD crack (SCCRACK) and It said it was set up correctly when I clicked the crack file, then I followed the instructions in the TXT file and changed the 'StarCD' value to a folder where I copied the Install File off the CD. I'm guessing this makes it so it looks to that folder instead of for the CD. All seemed well till I tried to play it. It asked for the CD. I cannot seem to get the computer to work without the CD. There is a way (besides burning it) that it can work. Anyone know how?

Yeah, with the original CD, go into install options and install a spawned version of SC. that way, as long as one of the computers has SC disc in it, the other can play without it. and it is completely legal too, blizzard included that option for that exact reason, so one person didnt have to buy more than one disc to play LAN games in their house.

Thanks, I'll try it out. I have tried to burn the CD but it askd for the CD when I put it in.

Ok Now it works without the CD...how do I go about getting it to work from here?

It also gives me the TPC/IP LAN option on this computer (the one that uses the CD) but on the other comp (no cd Spawned version) it does not have a TPC/IP option.

And theres ONE more thing..I got the TPC/IP thing set up on both comps, but Now, I create the game with the comp usong the CD (you cant create a game with the spawned version) but it wont show up on the other comp..the LAN is set up...is there anything else I need to do in order for it to work? (do I need to be running the spawned version on both comps?). Thanks, Jeremy
