It just chops to hell. Works like a charm in CZ, and I run 60fps. Whenever I talk it just chops, the mic goes on and off apparently, and its completely useless to understand.

Brings me to another question... I DO run 60 FPS, but everybody always talks about how horrible I lag, and chop, but everything is so smooth for me, and I don't lag at all in game. Not one little bit.

I'm a regular 100 on the server, so I don't see how lags there. I need to go to a westcoast server and see if my talk lags.

Yea, that's apparently every day occurences now, and when I talk too... Still, I'm experiencing 0 lag on my end, I may appear in one place lagging out, but I'll be in another place, shooting their face and they won't even see me. In a way, it's too my advantage, but it's truely annoying for everybody I play with. And I can't communicate in game, without the use of vent.

For anyone else who might have this problem... increase your cl_cmdrate. I think I read somewhere that numbers too low can make your mic all choppy. The default number is 30 or 40, which is low in my book. I usually set mine to 60-80.
