Anyone know if there is a way to increase the speed of gameplay on D2LOD.
I have a really shitty comp and slow internet connection. I'm on cable but its called lite not high speed. Whenever I use the map it slows gameplay so much. Just wondering if there is anything that can be changed in the settings.

ewwwww...... Sorry but I don't like low quality graphics.

Simply get better parts that wil go beyond the Recommend Requirements! If not, then do what Ogre said.

Other than what Sweaty said you could also beef up your memory, including video memory.

You need to swap the 128 with a 512, and at least 1 or 2 64s with 256s. You have a good computer, but your physical memory (RAM) is low.

And RAM is really cheeppies these days. You can get 512 for 50 buckeroos at almost any place ... including Best buy whose prices normally suxors.

Good place for the USA, bad place for Canada.

Just upgrade your RAM chips, and you should be alright

Same, I love to duel and I use map to seek my enemies. It really blows.

So If I upgrade to 512k on one of my memory banks this will speed up the gameplay graphics. Eventhough though, lol....my cpu is 300mhz. <==== LMAO

There is your other problem. You need at least 2 Ghz by now! Get with the times ;)

Sorry to put it harshly, but it needs to be said.

yeah man, if you don't meet the requirements, you're just not even trying. I mean, when you want to play a game.... you better want to play it and get the required system parts. (sorry if you're poor and can't help it!)

How much do 1gig cpu comps go for? In canadian dollars. BTW you live in Markham, I live in North York. Do you know any stores in GTA that sells cheap pcs?

I fixed it. I got some help at another chat forum. People were telling me over there to switch to 2d instead of 3d drivers. This is found under Video Test/selecting drivers. I don't need to buy new comp. Woohoo.
