Immune to Cold?

I'm trying to figure out a build to take with my sorc and it's gone down to fire or ice. I've always been a fan of frozen orb and I've heard from many people that if I go all frozen, there's some enemies I won't be able to kill. I'm wondering exactly what drop monsters are ice immune? Should I go all ice, or all fire, can't really go both because I need synergies,. I NEED SUGGESTIONS..

If you go fire, you wont be able to kill a thing in act 4, go with ice. Make a blizz sorc i would say, but if you want orb, thats cool too.

Well I think orb sorcs are better than Blizzard, since Blizzard only covers little bit of the screen, while orb covers full screen.... and its boss-killer I think ^.^

Yea, go for cold, I had fire sorc, and she sucked.

And you need to learn thunderstorm if your an orb sorc,

on my blizz sorc i would throw one point into ts and lm anyways...

Meh, I'm not a fan of TS ever since 1.10. Anyhow, if you don't want to waste the extra points, (which you'll have alot if you are orb) into TS and LM, just get a Defiance Merc (cant be hit, its great) and give him an Eth Reapers Toll and he'll be fine for a long time.

TS is a waste on bliz. Put one into orb on bliz sorc. My sorc with death fathom and etc does 767 damage orb with one point into it.

Make an orb sorc, because you will have plenty of leftover skills for Thunderstorm and with a decent mercenary you should be able to kill any cold immunes. The only problem with FO is that you need a few +skills for it to do good damage...

N_ posted this build on my first thread in the newbies section. It seems very solid, but I was wondering if I should sacrifice some points in order to get teleport?

You'll have enough to get teleport if you get to 99. Just don't max out Thunder Storm or Lightning mastery first. I suggest getting about 5+ in warmth.
