Im new to battleforums & need help plz...

hi, im new to battle forums...kinda. i joined at like...december somtime but havent been on till now :-/ and i have a few questions for anyone that will listen and write me bak...

questions:

#1: ok i noticed everyone have pics under their names and under their messages... how do u get thos?
#2: lol... ur all gona laugh at me wen u read this one... wuts a sticky?
#3: i got kicked outa some other chat thing for posting dumb shit, or osting it in wrong spot (ii thought it was in a perfectly good spot...) ware can i post and not post stuff

2: stickies are usually important threads that may answer questions, give rules, or annouce important things
3: to find out where to post threads, every area in the forums has a description of what you can post (located beneath the links)

For the newer members, I'll give you a little information about the different areas of the forums, and what they're used for.

Chit-Chat - Mostly used for general topics and conversations. Please make sure posts you make in there aren't like an IM or something that could easily be answered in private. Asking a specific person a question in a public forum isn't commonly appreciated. But please don't let that intimidate you, just some helpful advice to help you get well respected around here.

The Asylum - We generally warn newcomers to be careful when posting in there. It's a forum with very few rules, except no spamming or posting inapropriate images. Anything else goes however. You can feel free to bash the President, any forum moderators, or another member, but be prepared for them to bash you back!

Teh Void (Intentionally mispelled) - Basically do whatever you want here. The only rule here is no inapropriate images, which includes porn, or anything generally considered taboo. Feel free to spam as much as you want here, or test out your signature or different codes. Don't expect to get any serious answers from anyone here. Posts made there do not count toward your postcount as well.

Other than that, most of the other sections are pretty self-explanitory. We also have an RPG forum which has a discussion area for our RPG hack, where you can battle with other forum members, buy items for your character, or make your name glow.

If you'd like to get some general information on those, look on the navbar near the top of your screen that has the following links:

From there, go to RPG CP > RPG Manual

name glow is a nonstandard dhtml code that doesnt work in any standard compliant browser (opera, mozilla, ect). It should work in IE though.

I see you with a blue glowing name Trojan, I'd check your Advanced settings, and see if you have something disabled that shouldn't be.

Could always reset it to it's default settings to fix it as well.
