Im going to miss the old inventory images

im not very picky with the graphics like alot of people, but one thing im sure going to miss is the detailed item images.

in D2, items looked unique, colors varied depending on the stats, and if they were unique, they had there own completely cool look (i LOVE bonesnap image btw)

with D3, ya we might get a unique image still, but its no longer going to feel like i -really- have that item, the new inventory has that "trading card" feel to it imo

granted, everythings in the air still, it might have just been a rough concept just so they could show the game

they showed enough of it to get a feel for the new (for now) inventory...

i noticed my lack of interest in the new "trading card" images while making the sticky, i miss the big cool pictures of the weapons/armors im using

they do. theres 4 slots in the current enventory and "Bags" drop

Ah this place appears to be back up and running with the announcement of SC2 and D3! That's great

Anyway, I agree that the inventory looks a tad dodgy in D3. It may be better though. It's pretty ****in' annoying when you have to move all your stuff around to pick something up. The new inventory would prevent that kinda thing. Anyway, they may end up changing it by the time it's released

The inventory on D2 was fine. Expand it a bit, but keep it basically the same. Oh, and let us turn items so we can better organize.

I agree entirely. I don't like items taking up a single space, regardless of size. I like the D2 system, with the option to rotate items. It sucked not being able to fit that 4x1 sword in your inventory because you only had a 1x4 space left.

Well, as much as I like to stick to the old D2 look and feel, I have to strongly disagree on this one. I did spend hours to pack stuff into my mules in D2, only because everything had to "fit".
The result was many items lying around on the floor, constant creating of new mules, and sometimes TOTAL loss of all items, because the server crashed while muling. :mad2:
And searching for an item which you weren't sure where you did put it, was like searching the needle in a haystack.

I don't want this back !!! :nonod:

Haha, I haven't played D2 in so long that I forgot wtf mules were!

I have a feeling that you're still going to have to make mules.
