I am sorta sick and tired of losing because one player totally screws up. Last game, I was paired with a UD against a UD/ORC mirror. I had tinker and sh as hereoes. Anyways, I am creeping my quarter of the map (which I did really well thanks to Tinker). After the enemy tries thier first move, he tps in with 15 ghouls, a banshee and dk/dl combo. We manage to drive them off and also kill a few grunts in the process.

Then he is like counter. So we go to purple, then the ****ing idiot decides to walk into the base while they were tping. What happens, 2/1 tauren teleport RIGHT on him and he loses almost all his men. I am in the outskirts picking off red's forces (I had a free shot on him). Then I was forced to run, cause it was 2 on 1. He thinks I suck because I lack micro... IT WAS 30 UNITS ON 12. I was also forced to get hh and raiders with my grunts and docs (can't go shaman too easily against destroyers). I would have gotten many tauren and easily crushed red in a few seconds, but he doesnt let me and we get gged. After they attack me again, he doesnt even get aboms like he was supposed to and he ends up losing his men faster than I did.

Over half the reason I lose with teammates is:
-They lack micro
-They don't tell me what they are getting so I can adjust my strategy
-Some don't know how to aim tps (Its possible)
-They blame me for something and they leave when it was thier fault
-Some even tech to t3 with no units and just 1 hero.

The reason I play it is because its fun and some of the wins are totally awesome. However, for god's sake I have 30 more losses than my wins :(.

So I am going towards a more solo game approach. The problem is I don't really know how to start solo, like builds and shit (look at me asking for advice when I know somewhat how to play the game).

Yes thats why i stopped RTing in Azeroth with newb stats, it was too late though, i should have started solo much earlier and now i would have been... semi pro. It sucks to play RT a lot, not only 3v3 but 2v2 too. Play AT thats it, i have 0 ATs on my real acca but i will play definitely when i am in a clan. As for you solo, good that you start with that but the best way to learn fast is to watch what they do with orc vs every race when they win. Best is 4K.Grubby you know . Gl in soloing :)

Yeah, people are just too careless. For god's sake, that game I was ready to go tauren raiders and docs (I don't like shaman, Bloodlust is easily dispelled).
If I do solo, all I need to do is know when to take advantage of people and when not too, every strategy regardless of player has weakness, I just have to find it.

Yes you are right.
Also I must say that the 2v2 games are the most interesting in my opinion and very nice.

About your problem, I will tell u how I do in my 2v2 games:
I play using the rule of the captain (as I call it). So in the game if I am the captain I tell the other guy how to move where to move, when, and we agree before the game what units are we going each. The thing is that if I want something, I say it, and he must obey me, something like a direct order. Of course the other guy also gets to be the captain.
Another important thing for this strategy to work is the fact that both players must know each other.

For me, this strategy, did wonders against some very good players on the battle.net.

However, that game I was captian. And he didn't listen to me when he made that silly move by sacrificing his ghouls against tuaren.

Took you long enough. RT sucks, AT sucks, but I do it in order to play with my friends, solo owns. Team games requirew utterly no skills besides massing and rushing.

That is the way of things. RT is to unpredictable. Who the hell knows who you are going to be with. You could be playing with Stevie wonder for all aynone knows. FFa is where it is at.

More like you go hippo riders against mass archers. You broke our 4 win streak with me and tim.

ROFL!

the only reason to play rt is to dick around. Way back in ROC, way before one of the gold patches, i would send a few acolytes to an enemy base, haunt their mines...which sets them back at least 1000 gold...it worked just about every game(except the few all ud games)

or

i would be NE and send wisps and dispel UD blight...

This is the thing, in different situations, people react different, even if u know them, so this is why important for your allie to obey your orders, so that u both could move and act as a team.

Maybe u should replace the harass, with some effective scouting ;) .

Scouting is the same idea, our first attack is a hero based upon what we are facing (BM/TC usally), and Greg gets Kotg with Fon and 2 archers. Later I end up getting tauren and docs and greg gets riders and dragons.

Along the way, we send peons, wisps, illusions and fast flying units to see what they are up to. Believe me, our harasses do some damage.
