EQ is really nice, so is Final Fantasy XI. If you want, you COULD try Star Wars: Galaxies, buty I've heard some really bad things about that game. From erperience, Final Fantasy XI is really enjoyable IF you are patient. Everquest is also quite fun, I almost got hooked on it at a friends house. I think CoD is a MMO too, not sure. You'd have to ask Grieivng Mendacity abou that one.

I've really been meaning to check out FFIX, it looked really good. SWG didn't appeal to me, and I've never actually looked into EQ.

Seems like FFXI would be a good choice for you TweaK. You like Chrono Trigger, I'm going to assume you've played some FF'S for the SNES. If you played FF5, think of a crazy online verison of that. Job systems and all. Just add a new storyline to it and quests, and yea. I did enjoy FFXI though.

That's why I was thinking. The only thing that deterred me from FFXI was the fact that I haven't actually finished an FF game, I got bored long before the endings. Imma look a bit more into that, then I'll take a few looks at EQ2.

I used to have the same problem. I just ended up saying screw it, and I beat FF 4-6 and Mystic Quest just because I could. Have you played Final Fantasy 5 for SNES?

Lucky for tweak mmorpgs have no endings! I haven't really looked at and mmorpgs because I don't like paying so much for games(I know, I'm poor) but FF games have been good in the past...

It's a European MMORPG, so, I doubt you ever heard it. And I'm not sure you can play it, either

Anyway, it's just like any other MMORPG, but you don't have to pay for it. Well, actually, you can pay real money, and it'll appear as game money, but it's not completly necessery to pay anything at all.

Heck, it's free, do you need anything else? And it takes quite a good computer to play it, too.

FFXI is currently my fav, but EQ is also nice (id wait for 2 though...). Ragnarok online is pretty cool, and there's alot of ways to play free servers. same with Ultima Online and I think star wars galaxies. star wars galaxies isnt worth paying for by a long shot, but its decent IMO (i had a free account for a week).

PK is set up in an organized fashion in FFXI, it has 3 cd keys (only needed upon registering your FFXI account/expansions), and battle is real time w/ up to 6 people in a party or 18 in an alliance. You can solo through your first 10-15 levels (not reccommended to solo past 10 with most jobs though).
