Hello all loyal Diablo II fans. I see that eve after my almost 2 year hiatus that diablo II is still a fairly active game. As some of you may not know, I left when they anounced 1.10 and a so-called 'end to hacking'. However, as I see people are still commiting such acts (for educational purposes of course), and the fact that I have started playing D2 again, I was wondering if someone could bring me up to speed as to where we stand in the D2 Hacking/Modifying world.

So I heard Summit went on a rampage eh? What caused that?

As well, the reason I'm returning from playing the mmorpg: SWG is cuz of the crappy 2nd Combat Upgrage they brought to it

Anyway, d2 is free and much easier to 'modify' (h4xor)...

good to see the board isn't totally dead...although I see that people mostly come here looking for dupes. hopefully we can change that

Too bad this section is kinda going downhill due to my inactivity lately... The good news is exams finish next week and I'll have plenty of time to remodel all this. If you wan't you can add me to msn (gerardo_l_m@hotmail.com) so we can talk about the time you were away from here.

And yeah, Summit got access to the database and ****ed some stuff up, but it wasn't much of a deal anyway.

Only 2 months of down time since our admins back then thought they had to shut down the boards and wait for chrisuk to take a decision... It ONLY reduced our traffic to about 1/5 of what it used to be, but meh... no big deal
