Ilvl and transforming jewels/charms

So whats the deal here?

It seems pretty common sense, you put in a charm or jewel, plus 3 p gems, you get a new charm or jewel..

But the talk of ilvl and such lost me, hence this being in the newb forum


So a charm/jewel has to have decent stats on it already to get something decent or ?

[IE, if i get a 2 max damage GC {ROFL, i get those alot} and transform it, its going to still be junk right?

It depends. If you find it in normal it will not he 'elite'. If you find it in let's lets; Hell Baal then you are going to be able to get Very nice stats. It could take a very long time but you still could very well get a nice stated one.
