As I may have said it's like you hiring a carpet cleaning company and the employees going through your underwear drawer - because you MIGHT have a gun hidden in there.

If any of you had actually read the EULA you would know that warden does NOT violate it.

Directly quoted from: http://www.battle.net/tou.shtml
6. Use of Your Content. Blizzard and/or its parent, subsidiaries or affiliates may gather, process, and use (and allow others to use) any and all information which you provide directly to Blizzard ("Content"), as well as information regarding the manner in which you use Battle.net. You hereby grant to Blizzard a worldwide, perpetual, irrevocable, royalty-free, sublicenseable (through multiple tiers) right to exercise all intellectual property rights, in any media now known or not currently known, associated with your Content.
If that wasn't clear enough, it says:

We at Blizzard have the right to view and modify all information we can gather from your computer.

If you had read that before posting, you would have never posted. The section you quote says if you provide information or any content. Like posting to their forums. They can use it elseware. It dosnt say that they have the right to hack into every prossess you have running on your computer.

Kilz is right. We have to PROVIDE them the information; they can't dig it up.

Yes, but u either make it search, or you are allowed the option of turning it off if you don't want it scanning your files. Plus, Steam doesn't scan your memory or look into what programs are running at the time of the scan or the window name of the windows currently running.

Oh, i just wish to state that about the machaveli thing, he did say about the ends justifying the means, but he also specified what ends justified the means: things that benefited the state. And the state being the wellbeing of it and its population, that being us, the players of diablo 2. If it can be argued that warden somehow benefits us, then yes machaveli would support it, but since the ends is detrimental to the diablo 2 society, and thus the state, he would probably be against it. That of course is my interpretation, and your welcome to your own (IMO itl be wrong tho)
