IMHO, D2 has already been ruined considerably. I was playing tonight and I really felt that I was just playing Open B.Net. Just for a second, it really didn't seem to mean anything.
I think I felt that way because you see more and more people that have had this game for less than 1 month and already have themselves a WindForce.
D2 Had a meaning when .005% of the population actually owned a WindForce.
This may sound hypocritical, but I do believe PindleBots, are to blame. For the record I DO USE ONE. And its probably the best thing ever, created for a game, but I believe that it has ruined the economy.
If I had a WindForce, give or take 7 months ago, I would have felt like a god (lol), now having a WindForce just makes you a part of the crowd. Everyone and their dog can get one. Leave Pindlebot on for 2 weeks, you'll definetly get by the end of those 2 weeks.
I have views on the situation that are kind of awkward. Back to my morals on fairness. I believe in my case its fair for me to use PindleBot.
I've played this game for over 2 years. MFed For 1 1/2 years manually, for hours at end. I think a program like Pindle Bot for me was well deserved. I just don't like it when you get noobs that have been playing this game for less than 1 month, spam the forums on where they can get "PindleBotz" thousand times over, and after 2 days of botting already have the best item in the game
