If someone gets banned from battle.net, how long was the period the first time? I think it was 3 weeks or a month.

Its varied depending on the ban.. I know some one got banned for 2 weeks, another for month, or another for perm, it all depends I guess.

You are banned depending on the offense, if you do it again you are perm banned from ladder play.

Let me clear this up, no matter what if you were banned your account is gone forever no matter what, now as for the cd key. frist time=1-3months at most. 2=perm ban, if u buy new cd key you only need to buy the war3 orginal not the expantion, the expantion keys are not flaged nor banned since it's just a expantion. it is the orignal keys that are logged and flagged since it's the main componet of the game, you can play right away and make a new account if u buy a new orginal key.
