If nobody has ever hacked the battle.net servers and got away with it then where did 'White ' items come from that were on the Europe Realm?(I think it was Europe) Those items were home made and brought in the realm through Open Battle.net correct? So how did they do it?

The method was posted a while back. The exact details werent included but the concept of "how" it was done was covered. It didn't involve hacking the b.net servers. It exploited them just as any hack like dupe and what not does. It was a little more involved but they never exactly hacked into the servers.

Not just "White" items were brought over. All the so called "bugged" items and 4 socket shyt was brought over too.

I saw a screenshot of some sort of secret NPC in Act 2. This seems off topic, but those bugged/ITH/White/Hex/Whatever where all made using a NPC in one way or the other right? Could the NPC in Act2 lead to something new like this?

The hacked/bugged items were made in regular old item editors on open characters. the open characters were then imported into closed games by making the servers think the open charas were closed. i dont think it had anything to do with some secret npc...and what "secret" npc in act 2 are you talking about...?

Maybe not secret NPC. I think he's talking about an NPC no one would think of using to make bugged items/dupe.

yeah sounds like bullshyt. he would be in the tbl files and easily detected and known about. seriously, how do you think we found out about d2 clone before he was even activated...the tbl and shyt in the mpq files. if there was some secret npc, we would know about him by now.

The Whites and 'bugged' multi socketed wf/arkys/etc were all ported from open into closed through the good old bugged games, the issue was that the account and chars used to make the games had to be created prelod, and it was patched before the method was public.

Was a bit more complex, but the method is well documented out there...

hint: there is no hidden npc, look through the MPQs. You find..... NOTHING! He probably just ran somewhere while talking to another npc.
