here is how the diablo story will go-
after the events in diablo2 the 2 demon lords who rule hell (wat eva their names are) will join forces and after years of war will rule half of earth. The other half ruled by the small human alliace. God seeing this turns his back on the world and creates a new earth. This angers a large group of angels who then rebel, starting war in heaven. After the war, the crushed rebels flee to earth where they join the humans in their fight for survival becoming cursed fallen angels. God angered by the angels actions sends michael the archangel and his knights the holy Seraphims (a powerful type of angel, look it up) to destroy the old earth and punish the fallen angels. The paladins losing their connection with god convert to the worship of a pagan god. Your hero will wake up in a devestaed out-post harrased by consent attacks by demons. BLAH BLAH BLAH u finish it yourself.

one word for all this "Starcraft". that game is still pulling alot of user online but no starcraft 2 has come out and no new on it will be. just because a game is liked doesn't mean the compnay will make the next one starcraft ghost is being done by another company and that not even really the next game in series more of a side story that has nothing to do with the org story line. Now WOW is a crash puppy for blizzard user need to buy the game and then pay to play it online so why would they not try to ride this out to make as much profit a possible after that what a gaming company wants in the end right? so i don't you logic of oh its "Simple law of economics and capitolism" applies here starcraft 2 has been high in demand for years and basic rules stay demand = supply so if they havn't even try to supply it why would you assume they do it for diablo 3. i personally love diablo 2 and hope they make daiblo 3 but looking at from the companys point of view its not gonna happen or anytime soon.
