I would like to know your opinion about a hack

The hack doesn't exist yet.
But, do you think it would harm the playability of Starcraft to introduce some elements of Warcraft III
AutoCast, Cast 1 at a time for a selected group,...

i think it would greatly help, seeing how in the new patch you have to wait about 3.5 seconds between casting spells, atleast casting the protoss psi storm

But some people say that autocast and smart cast would kill the playability of Starcraft and the balance of the game.
Personally, I dont think so but I want to ear you about this

i dunno, it'd make rushing ALOT harder ;

and it would suck to have your base defense, cannons/turrets/spores screwed over by incoming corsairs "automatically" webbing everything =/

or your incoming cruisers/carriers/wraiths/scouts automatically screwed by lockdowns in the blink of an eye...yup i see good times ahead for a hack like that :redeye "Your Resistance is Futile, give into my auto lockdown,mindcontrol,psistorm,broodlings now!"

I really don't think, it'd affect the gameplay at all. Noobs might be a little better, yet, what -noobs- use spells anyway. Most don't. The majority of the people who do use spells, are the people who are alreadyu good enuff to use them effectively in the first place.

Well, speaking for myself (-Louis- knows I am one elite spell caster ), I do find that this would change the gameplay. Why? It's not easy to cast spells from different spell casters at the same time. And it's basicly there, and how you micro (spell casting is micro), and macro, that winning the game resides (I mean normal maps, of course). With that hack, anyone could outcast a gosu player, eventually giving them the win (they wouldn't, because any gosu knows how to get around spells ). But, well, the most it could do was to give advantage to people in the same ladder of 1337ness in SC.

At money maps, this hack wouldn't change anything at all.
