I need ideas

Look @ my avatar, then my sig.

Now, my sig is completely 2nd rate but gets the message across.
My avatar, which I'm very happy about, just need a make-over.

I'll be getting PS soon (since my photodraw v.2 is MESSED up) and I'll want to work on them. But I have NO clue as what to make? How do I start, what pictures should I add? I want a SC Ghost theme, but there isn't much 'ghost' out there to really have any depth in my work.

Suggestions, please, from those who know and make sigs and avvies quite often.
