Even so..Definitely Get a ball then a rock and drop them and make a poster and put your hypothesis for each one's gravitation reaction. After that put what actually happens and get a description on how gravity effected them both then give a few facts about gravity. Sounds like alot of work but it's really not..

Or find out the velocity of the objects down a wooden ramp (skate ramps work fine) and get some stuff like blocks and rocks and time their speed. VOILA friction project.
Gravitational reaction..For instance..The ball falls slower depending on side and goes back up. It doesn't do this because if it being rubber or plastic but because gravity pulls it back up while a sizeable rock is forced down by gravity.
