Well Long story short without "hypothetical speaking".... I gave my 46" Sony 720p HDTV to my brother. Oh how nice I am.

Well I am now looking to buy a Full 1080p HDTV because I just recently realized that Xbox games (at the moment a varied few) project at 1080P such as Bioshock- Mass Effect - and probably Assassins creed.

Anyway my question is simple... Is Walmart a bad choice to shop for HDTVs.

It just seems odd that they sell them for some much cheaper. They sell everything cheaper but that is an argument done and done with.

I am to understand you can have a 1080p TV with bad contrast and I don't want to get the shaft and be stuck with a television that is subpar.

Well that completely wraps up any further questions I will ever have on that topic. Thank you.
