I really, really want to get on. The install went okay, and downloading isn't a problem. However...despite the fact that my system meets and exceeds, even if slightly, the minimum requirements, I constantly run out of RAM by the time I get to loading the very first movie. I try to skip it, but my system gives me a "System Memory Too Low" warning message and the game crashes before I have a chance to do such.

System Details:

WinXP
Pentium III
128 Mb (probably the problem)

:frustrate Great... I think I pretty much meet the bare minimum for system memory... You may feel free to correct me if I'm wrong. I just need to know if there are any other problems you guys might see that I have to (get over/fix). I can, easily enough, buy a 256 Mb or 512 Mb SDRAM Notebook Card from Radio Shack (being as I work there).

XD

How did I just know I misread?

Thanks for the information. I should really figure out which video and sound card I use... I might have to look into that, but I doubt it. I know where and how to get a SDRAM Notebook Card, though.

BAKA BAKA BAKA!!

Why did I have to misread the stupid system minimum requirements? -_-; I'd have that blasted card by now... Here I was thinking I could play on mah current PC.

I don't think that'll help, actually. I just checked my system processes, and I'm using anywhere from 46 - 94 % of my system's physical memory. That's with Mozilla Foxfire, MSMessenger, AIM, AVG Anti-Virus, WiFi Radio, and a few miscelanious programs running. Shutting off AIM would cut my usage, nearly, in half, but...that still leaves much to be desired.

XD I didn't get to read your post, son ;)

I'll try the method out. In fact, I'm getting into that area, now. What I will still do, however, is buy an SDRAM Notebook Card.

Here is an example for a Desktop. Pentium II and III require SDRAM. Celeron and IV require DDR.

I'm under "System Properties" and "Advanced" tab, but I don't see another "Advanced" button. Am I missing something?
