Tonite, the Alliance was raiding Camp Tajauro, so we decided to organize a counter raid on Aberdine. I must say, it was the most fun I have had playing this game yet. We had a solid core of 8 30+ players and a couple 40+, the guards fell VERY quickly, and the alliance rallied. We proceeded to rampage through the town, stamping out pockets of resistance that formed around higher level players. Then, of course - the server crashed and our raid lost at least half its strength. We used hit and run tactics, holding our ground until heavily outnumbered, then retreating. The battle centering on the 2 bridges south of Aberdine. We kept them baffled and confused for a good 5 hours, picking off anyone who strayed too far from the main groups.

God I love this game.

Ok, here are a couple screenshots. This was on my Alt, on the PvE central time server Hellscream. Yeah, I was picking on lower level players. Mainly because the higher level Alliance were content to sit there and watch their mates get owned instead of, I don't know, ganging up on us? The best one is "Storming the Beaches", I cant imagine what the 6-8 alliance fishing there were thinking when 60+ PvP flagged Horde came up out of the ocean like Navy Seals.

i like to stealth around alone, then i dont have to rely on anyone else. it's funner alone, as a rogue, because you can stealth and they wont see you. :D

Thats exactly what I was doing most of the time. Stealthing around picking off unwary alliance who drifted too far away from the pack, I was taking down players with 5-6 levels on me, because I have kickass gear (thanks to donations =P) and they tend to panic and run when they get cheap shotted, and 2/3rds of their health is gone before they are unstunned =D=D=D

Now I know why people are so content to level up super fast:D

I've always wanted to be in something like that... looks so very awsome!

Did you actually swim across just to raid them? Cause if so that is sweet.

No, you just gain the satisfaction of killing them and dancing over their cooling corpse.

We did swim through the lake surrounding Astrannar, to avoid the guards, there are too many there. We also swam out to sea a bit south of Auberdine, again to try and avoid the guards. Worked pretty well, we only had to fight 3 of them to get in. Of course, some moron aggro'd the flight master (level 55 elite =/) and he took about half our force down, but the graveyard was nearby. A few of us went back again tonite, but no high level alliance showed up, so we just got some kicks off low level NE's who were dumb enough to flag themselves or attack us.
