Thursday - Tailoring = 0
Today - Tailoring = 375, Spellcloth with full Spellfire and Spellstrike leggings made.

Thurday - Jewelcrafting = 0
Today - Jewelcrafting = 342

Thursday - First Aid (Raiding) = 150.
Today - First Aid = 350.

Thursday - Gold = 4625.
Right now - Gold = 143.

The good news is that I can make those Runic Spellcloth things that add 28spell dmg and 18stam, and sell them for 1k on my server, or sell Spellstrike Leggings WITH the enchant on them for 3.5k. Just gotta farm the mats. :-/

Yeah, it's incredibly expensive when you do it 100% from AH instead of farming for it. They are expensive enough already :p But gratz is in order I suppose. I'm around 280 or so on tailoring.

I just hate enchanting, the mats are too expensive making it aggravating to finish my twink.

I'm not understanding your question...

And gold isn't that hard to make. I average about 100g every couple hours or so when I'm actually working on my lock, and I'm only 64.

Thats through quests though. Wait till you used all those already and you're stuck with farming primals.

I'm having a hell of a time trying to level up engineering and mining. The thing is, most of my eng recipes need copper bars, and I'm at the point where I'm trying to save gold up for my mount at 40, so I sell most of the ore I mine in the AH, making it difficult to spare any for shit like "a handful of copper screws".

I've also leveled to the point where I'm killing mobs that drop silk cloth, but my first aid has only leveled to heavy linen. At some point I'm going to need to go back and farm a shitload of linen cloth of low level mobs just so I can level first aid.

Durotar is the best place to farm copper.

Just buy linen from the AH, it's so goddamn cheap.

Oh man, I love Tailoring. Just to let you guys know.

I've made over 1k in the past 8 hours (not including 4 hours of Kara) off selling Silver/Gold spellthread.

That's called farming, get used to it.

Sometimes, you must spend hours and hours of doing nothing else than killing mobs and finding mines, so you can have the mats to level your professions.

I hates it.

Nope :D

Sure, I'm questing, but I'm also DE'ing all the drops and selling the mats.

Dust is pretty much 2g each, I normally come up with around a stack so theres 20g.

The essences go for around 10g a piece. I normally get about 60-70g off those everytime I go out.

The large shards go for 10g, and the small shards go for 2g. Pending on if I'm doing some instancing or if I'm just going around if I get my hands on any blues to DE.

But you get how lucrative enchanting can be at 60+ ;)

Mike, how does jewelcrafting fair for profit and/or overall usage? I'm wondering whether or not I want to take that up.

CB, your best bet is to get to 40+ with your mount, and not worry about crafting. Once you've got your mount go do instances runs and farm some gold up, and then power up whatever craft you want. That's basically what I did before I quit..I got 300/300 FA from like 50 all in one day, and enchanting to like 120 from 0 and blah blah it's easy as long as you know where to get gold. ^^;

JC takes way too much gold for it to be useful, and theres hardly anything you can make.

Not to mention that theres next to no JC specific things, and people will cut gems for you all day for around 5g.

Alchemy/Tailoring are the money makers imo. Blacksmithing, to a lesser extent (And mining).
