I have a quite noobish sigtar Q

Well, this is probably the 65th time a picture noob such as myself has asked this, but how can one go aboot making an image take up less bytes, or whatever the sigtar limit is based on?

You make the overall picture smaller by using a program, that makes it smaller in byte size.

No, you don't have to reduce its dimensions. Get your hands on an image editing program (there should be something that comes default with windows that you can use). You need a program that lets you either "Save as" or "Export" your image. Once you can do that, save your file as a .jpg and lower its quality until it's small enough for you.

If you have Photoshop:

File>Save For Web..

in the bottom left it shows the byte size..lower the quality until you get to the byte size needed.

Make sure it's set to jpeg also.
