I got my Wii one week after retail went out. I have a regular Fed-ex delivery guy that comes into my work, and asked if I was looking for one to buy. He bought it at the best buy store he lives near the night it came out, and he sold it to me for 450 with the Zelda game included. It was a pretty good deal for that amount and the time I got it. I was looking to buy a ps3 first, but im just going to wait until the GTA4 comes out.

Wiisports is fun as ****. Zelda might be best in series. Marvel Ultimate alliance == ok game. Madden 07, sweet.

Don't I know ;_: I work retail, so I have the misfortune of telling people where they are most likely to find one and turning them away. It makes me sigh in relief to think that I reserved mine and picked it up the first moment I could.

I've been trying to get a Wii for awhile now, but EVERY store is sold out.

I actually have a rather amusing story about that.

Just out of curiosity, I called up a few shops to find out if they had any Wiis because I had seen them selling on eBay for 150% of their retail price because they were apparently "SOLD OUT EVERYWHERE!". All the shops were sold out indeed and I was told more were coming in late January.

So, one afternoon while I was in town with some friends I bumped into an EB Games (just a game shop) and asked when they were getting more Wii's. I was told that they were getting some the next day (only 8! I got the last one) and I put a deposit on one and got it the next day.

I find this quite funny because many people have been preordering for January and I, just out of pure luck managed to grab one out of the blue 2 weeks after it was released. Yay for me. Get a Wii if you like gaming and have a few hundred bucks lying around.

Can't wait for a few games coming for the Wii. It's awesome. Seriously, super duper awesome.
