I got bored..[naked drawing advisory]

So I drew a naked elf. Then I put it in photoshop and added color. Then I added shitty scenery using only PS painting skills XD.

That picture is absolutely horrid. Why the hell did you draw this? It's understandable if artists want to draw a naked human body, but when a kid draws a naked elf for no other purpose than to fulfill his messed-up sexual fantasies, something is wrong. This picture is absolutely terrible, did you even look at it before you posted it?

And as for the comments:

The nipples are like that because of the drawing perspective. I've seen many drawings with the nipples like this.

The carpet-drape dilemma..My hair is blonde, and my pubic hair is darker than my hair on my head. Case in point.

And Treefrog, I drew a naked elf because I wanted to draw fantasy art. Not because I wanted to draw a naked elf to fap to. Clothes require too much detail. I'm just now starting to learn to draw so I'm not the best at anything by far. Naked bodies are far easier to draw.

Jason, i guess ill be one to actually give you advice.

For a beginer... it's not horrible.But, before you actually start to color your photo's in, try and get the hang of just drawing stuff. And as i said, start with the heads first, learn how to sraw them. Even i still have problems drawing bodies.

Theres no detail.
The ears arn't proportional.
The body isn't proportional.
The whole face is a bit un proportional.
The lines are jagged as shit. Get a wacom tablet or something, that'll fix that right up.

I could go on, but I think you see my point.

Studying other drawings is an ok place to start, but it would be better if you just studied some basic anatomy. Legs don't do that. The head is shaped wrong. The shoulders are too broad, and the neck is too thin.

Basically just check out an anatomy book from the library and sketch shit from that.

Ya..I'm gonna be getting some anatomy books from the library. My girlfriend might have some as well. She's an art major..pretty good too. ^_^;

The picture sucks, there is no point in posting it here if you want positive feedback on a terrible picture. I saw on an interview with the guys that drew spawn that the reason they use clothes is to cover up the body because it was too hard for them to draw, don't bullshit me and say clothes are too hard to do. If you actually look at the body clothes are much easier to draw and allow for more mistakes on your part...

I'm not saying its good but it's a cartoon, it doesn't have to be scaled like a human, maybe Jason wanted to make it looks disfigured, or maybe he's just not great at drawing so he gave it a shot, you aren't aware of his skill level so it's like a renaissance artist trying to find good in something a 10 year old draws today.
