I disabled a fish!

I was cleaning out my friends fishtank for her and was transferring the fish from the tank to a bowl using a spoon. So I put em in the bowl one by one and of course one of them jumps out of the spoon and lands in the kitchen sink, and of course, down the drain.

I spent 10 minutes trying to get the damn thing out of the drain, using a spoon and a fork, and even my owm hand. I acually touched the discusting thing =S Eventually he stopped squirming around and I got em into the spoon and back into the tank. Well I must have torn one of his fins off because he goes straight to the top, upside down, swimming. It was the fin that keeps him the rightside up so now all he can do is swim around at the top.

Should I like just flush it? =) I'd rather be dead than to be disabled and upsidedown swimming all my life. Poor guy. What Should I do?

if s/he/it was still alive:

take a shotgun to it.
burn it.
take a shotgun to it.
blow its brains (what little their are) out!
burn it.
repeat.
after repeating:
take it down to the city dump.
throw it away.

problem could have been solved through this method.

my fish has floated around at the top of the tank alive for 2 weeks before then one day he just started swinnginormal again, untill now... now hes stuck at he bottom of the tank..
