I cant play lannn

hi guys.i just wanna ask you about my dota.i cant play dota in lan mode.when opened the lan mode,create game n then when i choose the map,its written "the game was not found".when i copy n play in other computer,it's work!!can u help me to solve this problem?i think because my computers setting??thx a lott

uuummm i remmber this issue happening to me when i wanted to lan with my bro ages ago.

i can only presume ur using a router or modem/router, and not a switch.

1) make sure both have different ports for hosting the game. (not sure)
2) make sure the wc3 ports are forwarded.
3) open cmd and do ipconfig and amke sure u dont have any ip issues.
4) try using an online client like garena. if only one of you can be connected at a time then you definettly have a problem with your home set up

5) MAKE SURE, they are the same version.

honestly idk what else could be the problem havnt had to deal with this in 6 months or more. and my memory not to good i know i solved it from googling so try googling this
