I cant install my BW

it just stops when its 3/4 done copying broodat.mpq!!

I sort of remember having this, but I forgot how to solve, OMG PLZ HELP ME ORI SHOOT YOU :tnt :angry :ufo

and installing worked on other comp, this one has sp2

well if Im trying to install broodwar, it could mean:

-I already installed original SC on same CD-Rom



So yes! and scratches? Yes, but it installs on otehr comps! Why dont I play on other comps? ITS IN FOR REPAIRS

It would appear that your CD is broken. Try burning a copy and see if that works, if not.. Make an image of your BW CD (using WinISO or something) on the computer and use DAEMON Tools to run it.

It's either the CD or the CD-ROM, i dunno..

damn I suppose its CD... I tried the way that tronga told me, it didnt work... weriod, it worked on other comp...

Come on, you can do it. My BW CD isn't only scratched beyond belief, it even has a couple cracks in it. Still runs like a dream (btw, I found a copy of starcraft. )

instead of reinstalling sc on this comp, i just burned a data cd with all the maps and data then loaded the cd on this comp and dragged it on the desktop. or if your cd drive doesnt work for all cd's then you can easily buy a 50$ cd drive to replace it.

I'm sorry to tell u this, blizzard had announced a heartbreaking news for all the noobs; They made a secret patch so that no more "noobs" are able to install BW and cause server traffic problems. Ok,. mhmmm.. gg.
