ok i just got this game yesterday and i put it on my computer and started playing and having great fun right then i was thinking as i was playing that there has to be a way to play the game without the cd cause it was slowing my gameing down so i started to mess with it and somehow when i took diablo 2 off some things were somehow deleted from my cd so does ne one know why this may be also the files that were deleted were d2xtalk d2xvideo d2xmusic and d2xchar does ne one know where i can get these cuz i seriously want to play again and i dont have money to buy the game again walmart wont take it back cause it was opened so can someone plz help i made some friends on diablo that i want to meet again thanks

Look here http://www.battleforums.com/showthread.php?t=103584 . Scroll down a bit and there will be the files you need to download. I don't think your cd will be usable though, I'm not sure though. It's better to try than do nothing. Also, are you saying you need the .mpq's for your cd or for your diablo folder? You can also try the no cd loader on the page above. It will let you play the game without your cd.

yes something happened and when d2 was taken off my cd was in the rom so i have no clue how they could have been deleted but yes i need them for my d2 folder cuz right now i can only put on the diablo2 non expansion cuz when i stick in the cd it wont read it says error files not found but i was reading a thread and someone said they got d2 from thepiratebay so i did some research and i found a place where u can dl d2 non exp and exp so i am downloading exp right now going to take 10 hours tho
also since i just joined and i like this place i will treat u all to my bunny

unless its a burnt cd? (which I doubt u can even do)

if u look it is a cd u have to burn the files to a cd (which i can do) all it have is a .cue file and a .bin file that has all the stuff in it i havent downloaded it yet it takes to long :bouncy

Im pretty sure i can burn a game. But hats the only way i know how to get the files off a cd (a burnt one).
