Student offices are popularity contests. Jump off the school roof, get popular, win.

I don't have any of this stuff at my school....that's why I don't know what a Student Tresurer is. Is it like Student President or something? We have something like that at my ghetto school, I think.

I hate freshmen, so I can't wish you luck. Sorry, it's upperclassman policy.

Learn that student offices don't amount out to jack shit in the real world.

Well... we had two candidates running for treasurer for this year, but one of them ended up getting bumped up to VP because no one wanted it. I don't think our freshman class has any officers yet. And because there is literally no competition at our school when it comes to officers (it's always just a popularity contest anyway), my only suggestion could be to prepare the best speech. Make sure it's funny and read it with confidence.

I suggest that you keep severely tight records of money flows. It appears and disappears easily.

It's more important to get things done once elected than to get elected.

If you get elected do as good as a job you can. I myself am the treasurer of my colleges Beta Beta Beta chapter and it can actually be a lot of work. Though in college officers actually plan and carry out meetings and events. Some clubs go on trips to labs, others do chemistry demonstrations for elementary school kids, some go to sporting events.

If you want to run for this you need to think of what you want to accomplish, and to make people beleive that you can. I doubt there is much you could do in high schools though, so it's probably pretty pointless, unless you want something that'll help you get into college.

Heres some: HA.

On a more serious: Wow, are you really that stupid to run for STUDENT OFFICE? Just a question...

Actually class offices, along with doing clubs, and sports after school do look good for college.

Any helpful advise?
Yes. They're not going to want a class treasurer that can't even spell. It's 'advice'.
