ok...i havent seen a way to beat this and it is getting on my nerves. It has happened to me lots of times! AT the start of the game, the orcs come with the Far seer and 2-3 grunts...THEY TOTALY SCREW ME OVER... This only works against me when they have good micro...they easily kill the AM because of wolves...and they keep microing and killing my peasants...Lol...i remember my friend did this to me and beat me easily like that...I cant micro my units because he keeps following them with the wolves and FS...plus footies die very easily compared to grunts(which are MUCH easier to micro)...I try making a tower but they EASILY go down...Very annoying...But it only works when the opponent has crazy micro... :grunt :grunt

I recommend.....Bloodmage....he got major buff in 1.17.

i think u can make FS faster than he can make Grunts, make altar first then 1 barrack and start building a FS. keep a FS loading at all times, and when u get extra money build another barracks and build more FS. after 1 or 2 foot soldiers u should start building ur second barracks. for ur hero, u MUST get the paladin with the D-aura.
then quickly upgrade to gryphons (if he goes grunts/tauren) or Knights (if he goes air/berserks)

No to counter this orc harass do:

-create a guard tower quickly after you have 1-2 foots.
-move in the base and stay there with your AM, be careful and after 4 foots better make rifles because making foots sucks he gets experience and you lose money.

Thats why i prefer also to make a wall of the buildings where if he enters there is no escape and my foots can pass between the farms that are next to each other, while grunts cant. If you also tech to keep, when he's sieging you, you can also get thunderclap as 1st if he attacks you without retreating or bolt on grunt if he alawys escapes.

Darkmage would know better than I, in matters of HU. However, I know abuse when I see it.... :lovedup

I think mystic sorceror has the best idea...Why is everyone telling me Bloodmage??are you crazy? The guard tower will be hard to get up that early! I mean i cant really make a guard tower that fast everytime i play against an orc!LOL...2 grunts and he is at my base! thats like 2 seconds...anyways im sure ill be able to figure it out with some more experience!

Bolt+ surround is nice if you somehow resist on chain lightning because making 5 or 6 foots , which is enough to surround and attacking with them vs grunts, wolves and FS is free experience. You dont have even time to move them away,.

blot and surround will work in the short run! again it is impossible to tell what teh orc is gonna do...so ill have to make the mk every time i play against orc??

You should have a specific strategy against EVERY team. Every team has different basic strategies, and it is up to you to identify this strategy. Once it has been identified, again, it is up to you to figure out how to counter it!

It is up to you entirely how successful you are, we cannot help you every step of the way.... :hop

Yep, that is how all Strategy games work. You formulate strategies against who you have to fight on the spot usually.

I wonder for 1.17, which do you think is better, Arcane to kill wolves quickly but doesnt harm grunts or guard tower with slower killing of wolves and damaging grunts too, i mean with better damage.

Yes, because it has that bonus damage to summons now too. The bonus damage to units with mana has now been transferred to summons too.

Ahem..Sorc vs Orc = GG

Thats all you need sorcs/rifles/footies. You slow grunts down so much they cant even attack. Same with wyverns Sorc/Rifles own air.

yeah i know that about the sorcs....but they come in tier 2...

yes i know about the bonus damage but will it compensate for the guard tower's attack speed and higher damage??

1 more stupid question do spellbreakers take over stasis traps and healing wards?

Yes, its cool. And annoying at the same time....

I think it is like 20 extra damage or something crazy like that. I don't have time to look though. :p
