Here is a very easy tutorial and a very detailed tutorial. It was written for those who cant quite comprehend the more difficult and vague instructions at most sites. I hope it helps someone.

Looks good and is pretty in depth.

Ill just stick with Trillian's mIRC client, seems a bit easier for me.
