How to use bots ?

plzz tell me how to use the bots on www.diabloworld.com i dont know, every time i open the file it opens macromedia dreamweaver mx,... what shall i do ???

you have to have jedi master and the padawin learner.

install jedi. restart comp.
instal padawin learner into the same directory as jedi master.
run padawin learner first. type in name of char EXACTLY how it is in the game.
select which script to run. (also for sorcs. the default script sucks. get the one made by sh-demon and mikbre)

should be the one at the top. you'll have to configure it. just open it with notepad or wordpad. its all pretty self explanitory. just read through it.

so you've run padawin learner. you typed in the chars name and you've selected the sorc pindlebot script.

now run jedi master. type in all the account info. (Just an FYI about typing in the info in jedi master. if you goto the JED folder and open the file "JEDimaster.ini" you can edit this account info and save it so that you dont have to type it in every time you run the program).

after you've got your account info in then goto advanced settings and make sure you have the right directory for diablo II. (Just FYI. this with ONLY work with the no-cd crack D2Loader or the default .exe with a cd in the tray. no other no-cd cracks will work.) and the .exe HAS TO BE CALLED "Diablo II.exe". so if its somethin different then you have the wrong Dloader.

make sure you select the correct realm. the default is USWest.

at the bottom of the advanced settings tab you'll see "ARG" for "arguments" just leave this as default. it has to run in window'd mode for it to work.

now that all info is in place, you've told it the name of the char, and have selected the apropriate pindlebot script. now hit "START". its going to auto open a D2 window. and will auto log into bnet under the realm you selected under "account information". it will then select the char based on the position you gave it under "account information". it will press the "create game" button 3 times. this is to just check that you are indeed on bnet and its working correctly. it will then press "create game" again. type in a game name and pw. and start the game.

BEFORE YOU DO THIS make sure your already in act5. and make sure you already have the red portal open to you. if your not in act 5 you can however just run to a WP and goto act5 and it'll be smart enough to figure it out once your in act5 already. however if you dont have the portal it will crash teh game and try to make another game and continue to crash.


also make sure you set up the "Pickit.ini" file to pick up the stuff you want it to. SOME ADVICE ON STUFF TO PICK UP! do not pick up Gcharms, large charms, rare rings, rare amulets. i know you want to. but trust me it will fill up your inventory FAST and then if your not around to constantly go through it you could miss a windforce or a grandfather cause your inventory is full when it hits ground.

you'll also want to edit the pindle script your useing as i stated before. just read through it. they make it pretty easy to figure out.

if the game is restarting itself at various positions in the game you'll need to adjust the timers in "JEDi Master" under the "Advanced Settings" Tab.

Other than that thats it. Read the readme if your having difficulties. Also their is an EXTENSIVE FAQ and forum discussion on getting JED to work at diabloworld. the crew on their forum is really helpfull too if their FAQ's and README's dont help you out.

ok thx for ur answer, i did everthing like u said, but now, everytime the bot is by pindel, he attacks him but it always disconnects before pindel is dead, and so i get no items,.. what can i do ??

well the game is supposed to disconnect instead of doing a save and exit. its quicker i think is why they did it that way.

if its doing it before pindle dies though thats your chicken kickin in. check the pindle script. it has a chicken Health setting. once you dip below the set amount of health it auto exists game so you dont die.

theirs also a chicken for mana but its usually defaulted to being off. just their in case someone wants it.

ok i put the chicken on 50 hp but the bot still disconnects, even if pindle isnt dead and i have more then 700 hp ,... can it be some other thing ?

what script are you using? some scripts dont have pindle death detection and will only do a certain amount of attacks and then quit.....if thats the case i suggest getting one with death dection it will loop until pindle is dead or until you chicken out.

yeah the default sorc script sucks. it just attacks a certain amount of times, turns on pickit and leaves. and pindle might not be dead yet.

get the sh-demon sorc script. it rocks.

I have a problem to.

Everything works until I get to act 5, then nothing happens.

My sorc does not move or do anything.

Is there a certain setting I need to config??

i use the "Murdies Universal Sorc Script", in the description stands nothing about pindledead-detection. i use this because aris said.... if anybody knows a better one, please say.

<edit> oh *oops* i saw a few seconds ago, i dont use the script aris said, but another one by sh-demon and mikebre, ok i will test that one now

Do you know where I can download sh-demon sorc script



Right now I tried to use JED JEDi Master script and my character once it gets to Act 5 Hell won't do anything. I have to move it myself.

is there something else I have to config or should I use another script?
