How to bugg eth armors?

i have seen many ppl doing the bugged thing in game. and i have found a formus that tell me to use cube method? is it horadric cube? they tell me to put a tal+thul+my eth armor(it's normal eth armor without soc), then cube, nothing happen? they said it should like make it socketed and or maybe 50%more Def? does anyone has any clues? thanks!

now i figured it out, that formular is working. but my mistake is using a SUPERIOR(ed%or dur) eth armor. and this formular is only working for non SUP armors
