How the Fu** did this happen???

ok.. i play us east nl... and i was doin chaos runs... with an ele druid (fire)

and after a while i just died for some reason... and i pressed esc to go to town ... but i just reapered next to my body... and i coulnt pick it up... anyone ever had this happen to them? and is there a way u could possibly dupe like this?

I've had this sort of happen, although not quite like how yours did. I was dueling a friend and I died while I was lagging and then I saw myself standing by my body, although my friend claims it didn't show that on his screen(probably true-Bnet is wacky). I went to hit Escape and nothing happened. So I had to Ctr+Alt+Del and close Diablo that way.

I can't really say that's a good way to fix it, but bnet bugs every now and then and that's one way to deal with it.

well... i hade the screen say: press esc to go back blah blah blah... so i pressed it and i think it laged? im not sure... wut ever... i was next to my body... i coulnt pick it up and i just quit and came back and everything whent back to normal :-/

hmmmm.........kinda funny this JUST happened to me. except it killed my keyboard at the same time so i had the power down the comp itself unfortunately. was very annoying too as i was fine then suddenly fell down dead.



just rebooted and came to BF instead of playing again.

Ahh yes the glitch death. another funny way to do it on purpose is with a zealot. Simply have sum stand close to the edge of town then use sacrifice and try to hit them. Y ou will eventually kill yourself. The game doesnt know what to do with your body since you shouldnt be able to kill yourself. Then bam your invisible to all in the game and you cant be hit or hit ne one else. Also when you talk above your head it appears above your ded body. Its pointless but fun to do when your bored.
