How in the world do you go through hell will a cold sorc?

Ok, I decided to go with a blizzard sorc since, it seemed that was what was recommended for MFer. But with all the cold immunes in hell how do you kill anything? I am lvl 74, I have a act2 merc we both just die before we can even make it to the Den of Evil, LOL. I have crappy stuff but how do you get better stuff if you can live through a MF run?

MF in Nightmare Meph and Baal for better items, get runewords, and have your merc be your same lvl. Those are just a few things that I've done to help me live in hell with a spacifically cold sorc.

mf in nm bosses for better eq, and trade whenever you come across a deal. join groups if it really becomes impossible. skipping mosters is also an option, if there is just one super strong imm cold unique or something, just run him into a corner and tp out. if its a certain type of monster, remake the game till you get a monster set that doesn't have any imm cold's.

lolz, teh problam is tele 2 lvl 3, not teh meph itself..

You just have to get a beefed up merc and static them

Infinity + Good Merc. Infinity takes away Cold Immunity, allowing you to kick some major ass.

for the answer how do blizz sorces get thro hell...well most blizz sorces only mf so u dont gotta worry about hell ..u maily mf andy, mef,pindle...

my blizz sorce that i made i got her to go thro countess, mef, andy, trav :S ( haha only 1monster is cold imune guys) pindle, and baal..i hade some trouble with the last set on minions but i just stood WAY back and let my merch kill well i did static feild. Blizz sorces are only good in hell if they have GODLY gear.

To answer that i just static feilded and let my merch go wild...

BTW my merch used...ebotd WP, fort, and giant skull helm (2soceted with 5/5 blizz facets in it)

This DOES bring up a point I had about patch 1.10 - all the immunes screw sorcs over.

Thats why I love my light sorce. And when I end up needing it, my godly merc is right behind me every step of the way.

First off with E-shield + teleken I can take a hit
Secondly I have incredible FCR and can dodge like neo (matrix)

Of course countess is cold/fire immune, with cold and fire immune guards

AND pindle gets random ele resists. Two potential immunes.

Having to tele past an enemy because there is no way in hell you can kill him is derogative to the game. They really should fix that.
