How does the History Channel do it?

With my utter lack of stuff to do today, I turned on my tv and eventually got to the history channel. I started watching a series called Modern Marvels...and watched a show about the history and uses of fertilizer. Somehow this entertained me for the better part of a hour and I'm just starting to wonder how these random shows entertain me. Better yet, how they stay afloat with shows like the history of butchery.

Because it's the ****ing History channel. They have some of the most ballin shows ever. Same with Discovery.

That and they make a ton in videos for schools and stuff.

They entertain you because you're learning something pretty interesting since you have probably never thought about it before. I agree with you. There are some random shows that I watch that really shouldn't keep your attention but they do.

psht, i been know about that shiz....i consider my self an end of the world expert...dec 21/2012...we will be on bottom side of the galaxy, rather than the top, the suns gravity shifts polls, AND on that particular day the suns gravitational pull from each corresponding planet will match up causing massive solar flares, large enough to actually shoot off the sun, most likely hitting us, and burning the atmo, in turn killing us
