How does one load D2 in window mode?

I've always wonder how I could open D2 in window mode without the use of something such as D2 loader or D2jsp, does anyone know how to do it so that they could explain it to me?

I for one like to be able to multi task, by browsing the forums and gaming at the same time.

you right click on the icon, hit properties, then you click on target, and just add -w

Edit: I'm sorry I'm obviously an idiot.. every time I add it in it decides that its not a valid path. Where exactly am I suposed to add it in?

right click d2, add -w to the end of the target one

I tried that, but it doesn't seem to want to let me add it..

It should look like this, with -w after the ' " '
"C:\Program Files\Diablo II\Diablo II.exe" -w

Thats why it wasn't working, I wasn't putting a space between it.. I'll try againt o see if it works. Thanks guys.

awesome, i didn't know how to run it in windowed mode either, thanks for telling me. Now i can still talk to my girlfriend on aim without her saying that i'm 'ignoring' her :/. Not going to say 'i'm not ignoring you, I'm just playing diablo because you don't talk enough...' anymore :X
