How does charged strike work?

so far ive only seen a screenshot of charged strike in action. the bolts seem to be released from behind the target. if thats true, then how is it supposed to do the tremendous dmg ive heard so much about? if the bolts actually behave in some other way, if possble, plz post ur own screenshot of charged strike.

They are casted from your character i believe, some of the cb's (charged bolts) hit the monster, others miss, because cb's like to move diagonally back and forth. Could be wrong on this.

well... the bolts aren't supposed to strike all on same target but on several targets, such as the sorceress charged bolt

its possible to hit more than one hit on one target with the sorcs charged bolt, and im pretty sure its the same with charged strike bolts, but im curious where the bolts are actually released, and how many are actually supposed to hit one target.

would someone plz be kind enuf to post a screenshot?
