How do you use Item Hacks

I've downloaded a few items but I have idea how to put them into the game. can someone tell me how to do this?

Do I have to download something else to use them?

You have to download a program that can transfer the items on to the game. Look through the stickies. And you can only do this for open bnet, and single player.
